Every year, MMSC puts together events to both educate and promote our efforts.  As a non-profit, this enables us to continue our goal to save and preserve marine wildlife.

2018 Run-4-the-Animals 5K RESULTS

Seining Program (Brigantine)

Bring the whole family to the beach to learn about the fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and other critters in our bays! Program includes a short, guided beach walk to introduce some of the plants and animals that live in New Jersey and then a chance to use our seining nets in the water to collect small animals.

*We STRONGLY recommend that all participants wear water shoes for this program*

Location: The Cove Beach (dead end of Lagoon Blvd) in Brigantine

Fee: $5 per active seiner

Ages: All ages may attend, but active seiners must be 7+

Pre-Registration Recommended, but cash payments accepted day-of

Length of Program: Approximately 1 hour
